1.The most successful part of my project were the main parts of the coins. I thought they looked pretty realistic. I also enjoyed carving them.
2. If I were to do it again I would carve the lettering in deeper and try to make it look more neat. I would also make the edges line up. 3. If someone was starting the project I would tell them to sketch out really well and cut exactly. It would also be smart to be careful so you don't damage the cardboard.

1. My plans are to turn the cardboard into a quarter. It will be raised and lower to add detail. I'm also going to use the rigid part of the cardboard to try to mimic the rim of a quarter.
2. I feel the realistic part of the piece was successful. It has a lot of detail the makes it look real. But its harder to try to make the edges and raised sections look good. |
